As you consider designing and building your own home, there are a number of considerations you need to think about.
WHAT type of project do you need help with? Are you looking at a major remodel of an existing home? Are you adding an addition onto an existing property? Are you working from a blank slate on a brand new home from start to finish? We can help with all of these custom Denver residential construction projects through our design-build process. Or, we can come alongside your architect and interior designer to help make the design a reality.
WHY are you taking on this project? What values are driving your desire to take on a residential construction project? Understanding the needs and values that are driving your projects will ultimately help you have vision to make design decisions later down the road. WHEN are you thinking of getting started with your residential construction? The planning stages of a design-build remodel, as well as permitting and material ordering, can take weeks to months in Denver and the surrounding communities, depending on the size of your project. Do you want the builder to have the remodel or addition completed by a certain date, for a holiday or special event? (By the way, we do our residential remodeling work year round.)
HOW LONG will it take? This depends on the size and scope of your remodeling project, so it may be a matter of weeks, or months. You may have to wait awhile until everything is ready to go, but once we start on your residential remodel, we work every day, Monday through Friday, until it is complete, except for holidays and extremely bad weather.
